Newton Farm Beef

Most of the beef we sell is from our own herd that lives at Newton Farm, the rest is sourced as locally as possible from farms with the animals grazing freely for most of the year, being fed a natural diet of grass and grain. We use a local abattoir and have the meat back at the farm where it is hung, or 'dry aged',  for a minimum of 3 weeks which is part of the reason why our beef is so tender, and so full of flavour.

Our butchers then take over and cut the meat for our customers into roasting joints, fillet, sirloin and rump steaks. Our mince is lean, with minimal fat coming out in the cooking process. We make our own burgers which have developed quite a local reputation for being simply the best.
