Open Farm Day - Monday 29th August (Parking will be in the adjacent field for all except blue badge holders)

Come and join us between 10am and 5pm for what promises to be a fabulous fun packed day. Expect to find tractor tours around the farm, agricultural/educational stands informing on what happens to our wheat, barley and maize after harvest, the life cycle of bees and how honey is made, the health benefits of the locally grown, ancient grain, quinoa.  Other stands include Avon Wildlife Trust, local farmer, Debbie Keeling of Bath Harvest will be informing on her award-winning rapeseed oil, Liz Eley of Eley Angoras will be demonstrating the art of spinning and Julie, owner of Bicka-boo will be running hands-on biscuit decorating sessions for children.  In addition, we have asked a few selected artisan suppliers to join us for food sampling and cider tastings.  After digesting all this interesting information you'll have a chance to sit down and enjoy some foot tapping live music, tuck into a tasty Newton Farm hog roast bap or savour a delectable cream tea.  Hot and cold refreshments will also be available. Tickets for the tractor tours are to be purchased in advance and are now available in the shop. Prices Adults £2, Children £1 (10 - 16yrs) Children under 10 years FREE, but must be supervised at all times.  We look forward to seeing you!
